THE MYSTERY OF THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE

The Bermuda Triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean, near Florida in the United States. Some years ago, many aeroplanes dissapeared when they were flying through the area. Ships also dissapeared or sank when they were sailing there. Today, many people say that the area has a special, magical force and that it is  very dangerous. They are frightened of going into the area because they say something might happen to them

During the 1940’s Flight 19 squadron was reported missing in the Bermuda Triangle, while on patrol off the Florida coast. The planes encountered an unusual glow in the atmosphere.

The second Cyclops, a collier ( a kind of ship),   she coaled ships on patrol with American entry into World War I, Cyclops  joined a convoy in France, and she was assigned to Naval Overseas Transportation Service. She then sailed to Brazilian waters to fuel British ships in the south Atlantic,  She put to sea from Rio de Janiero 16 February 1918 and after touching at Barbados on 3 and 4 March, was never heard from again. Her loss with all 306 crew and passengers, without a trace, is one of the sea's unsolved mysteries.
